Memo Mendoza is a 25 year old bass player from Mexico. He has been playing since the age of 13 and first started jamming to songs from Iron Maiden amongst other metal bands. A few years later he decided to take a music degree where he discovered so  many different genres of music, such as jazz, latin, and funk. From then on he became a session musician.


In 2016, Memo was part of the line up at “Wacken Open Air” in Germany with the thrash metal band "Tulkas". With two albums released (Freedom Thoughts 2016), (Take the World 2018), Tulkas were the opening act for bands such as "Lamb of God", "Havok", "Nervosa",  among many others; and performed at other heavy metal festivals in Mexico including "Hell & Heaven", "Knotfest", "Mexico Metal Fest III", “Force Fest”, etc."


Since 2019 he has been endorsed by the renowned UK instruments brand “Chapman Guitars”. Besides metal and session work, Memo has released an EP with "Gravity Funk" who are currently on tour in Mexico on the Jazz/Funk festival circuit.
